Jobs in the thriving economy of Dubai

The Gulf area of the Middle East has been experiencing a thriving economy of late and it is considered to be one of the most competitive career markets in the entire world.  The area has an allure for job seekers for a number of reasons but the primary one is the fact that Dubai is a tax-free environment.  There is no property tax, nor is there sales tax, as the government has ruled that both of these are illegal.  Dubai has become a leader in both the cultural and trading industry sectors.

The bottom line is that there are a variety of jobs in Dubai available to the individual who can compete with the best applicants for them.  It obviously helps if you are the most qualified for the position.  However, the most frustrating aspect of finding employment in the Middle East is having to deal with certain recruitment agencies.  Although the major job posting sites carry the name of the company that is seeking employees, in most cases you will be redirected to a job recruiter.

If the recruiter charges the prospective employer a fee and not you, then you might want to consider this option when you are searching for jobs in Dubai.  With the volume of CV’s and resumes that pass through these agencys’ hands, it isn’t any wonder that some get lost in the shuffle.  So it is imperative that you create the most impressionable and powerful CV or resume possible.  You might also wish to consider including a professionally written cover letter.
